27 May - 10 June 2005 - Artpool P60 A négy teljesen különböző indíttatású és kultúrájú művészben az a közös, hogy a hétköznapi használatba átkerült másodlagossá vált művészetet újra bevonják a művészet elsődleges szférájába. Műveik (műveleteik) első pillanatban tipikusan a fogyasztói társadalom attitűdjére emlékeztetnek (lásd. pop art, fluxus, stb.), de azt meghaladva egy új magatartásformát mutatnak: az információs társadalom "funkcionáriusáét", aki nem azt teszi, amit az "apparátus" megenged, hanem megváltoztatja a programot, miáltal új információt hoz létre (keletkeztet) kép formájában. exhibition of | Gyarmati | Cohen | Bidner | Bp. Szabó | kiállítása What's common in the four artists - who are absolutely different in their motivations and cultural backgrounds - is that they replace art - that has passed into the everyday use and became secondary - into art’s primary sphere. Their artworks (operations) at first sight typically remind us of the consumer society’s attitude (pop art, fluxus, etc.), but by exceeding it, they demonstrate a new attitude: the one of the "functionary's" of the informational society, who instead of obeying to the „apparatus”, changes the program, creating this way a new piece of information in the form of an image.
