For me,
the fourth dimension
is an opportunity
to actualize something
that only exists
on the second degree,
but not on the first.
Once, for instance, I saw
a Soviet clown performing
his piece very briskly
and making everyone laugh.
Then he performed the
same piece in slow motion
and made everyone laugh
again, for the second joke
was hidden in the first one.
In the first case, it was the
time, the speed of the
performance that kept the
second act invisible.
So this clown has managed
to fit two acts in one show:
that’s what the fourth
dimension means.
