COURAGE CONFERENCES
with the participation of the Artpool Art Research Center

COURAGE – connecting collections (Cultural Opposition. Understanding the Cultural Heritage of Dissent in the Former Socialist Countries). Three-year research project (2016—2019) within the EU framework programme Horizon 2020. The aim of the project is to conduct research into the history of public and private collections preserving relics of counter culture and their analysis in a broad-based social, political and cultural context, as well as to build an international online database about these institutions.
Being one of the major Hungarian institutions preserving such documents, the Artpool Art Research Center discussed its relevant collections at numerous thematic COURAGE conferences and developed the section of the database that presents Artpool’s collections.
