(1) How long have you been making installations?

since 1996

(2) Why did you choose to make installations and not anything else?

I use installation (but not only installation) quite often, because it is a significant way of expression claiming for participation.

(3) What do you think of your own works?

Generally they are ... very well.

(4) What do you think the difference is between your own work and other installations?

In my installations there is a coexistence of creative and a"scientific" dimensions.

(5) What do you think of the relationship of traditional artwork and installation?

There were installation in Historical Art as well. Too “traditional” art is not for today (it is not necessary)!

(6) What is the size and material of an installation determined by?

Sizes and materials can be very different.

(7) Could you mention the installation you consider to be the largest and the smallest one?

From my installaions: “Les jouets de Bina” (Toys of Bina-Bam...Bina) - a complex of small (a few centimeters) objects, or: The Big Duchamp-beds (Grands Lits duchampiens) - both of the two beds mesuring cca. 4 m and the whole installation fills a big hall.

(8) Is there any object or idea that cannot be installed?

There are projects I could’nt realise (yet), eg. usage of airoplanes...

(9) How does environment affect the installation of the work?

Environment is generally respected by the installation

(10) Do you know any fact that restricts the possibilities of installation?

Financial restrictions. (Plus a restriction for myself: I cannot accept disturbing by an installation the historical or natural surroundings as it is often done by some architects...)

(11) Do you like making installation for order or at request?

Yes, eventually

(12) What do you think of preserving an installation?

It might be good or interesting in some cases (of course, only if the installation is interesting)

(13) Can the value of an installation be estimated and how?

I am not too much interested in financial values. But an artistic value can be estimated depending upon the circumstances and the artist’s desire...

(14) How does copyright apply to installations preserved only in documents?

I don’t know it but I would like to...

(16) Your questions, if there is any, and your answers to them.

Art is a question and sometimes also an answer. Art shouldn’t be restricted in any way, nor from the point of view of creativity nor from that of the abstract thinking. A living “thing” is needed!
