Note: the document-exhibition of the ten year’s of Artpool’s operation seeks to present the dual nature of imaginary and real as well as temporal and spatial events from the perspective of the year of twoness.
The exhibition is built on the dualities of technique and content in the displayed documents: the relationship between text and image, still and motion, action and re-action. As a result of this, the time of the “past” merges into space in order to be “present” in the form of content and to become the multidimensional cluster of opportunities, i.e. the “future”. “Space” is the topology of this cluster. In this case it is more important how things are in relation with each other than the time each of the given events happened. The topics are not strictly distinct from one another – which they could be based on the new perspectives of each year – because the previous and next themes within the given topic are interlinked like in a chain and are thus simultaneously present.
