Fluxus East

Fluxus Networks in Central Eastern Europe

Budapest venue - after Berlin, Vilnius and Kraków - of the big touring exhibition monitoring Fluxus networks in Central and Eastern Europe

As an interactive exhibition, FLUXUS EAST aims to facilitate a profound encounter with ideas, works and texts - some presented as facsimiles to permit intense study. Thanks to Artpool and György Galántai it is possible to play at Flux Ping Pong [video], and visitors are also invited to explore the Poipoidrome by Robert Filliou (originally presented in 1976 at the Young Artists Club of Budapest and reconstructed by artpool in 1998).

The Budapest exhibition will be completed with Flux Flags from 1992, documents of Ben Vautier’s podium and captions at Liszt Ferenc square in 1993 (BENvauTiER), as well as a selection from Artpool’s Fluxus videos and the website Fluxus@Artpool.
