(1) How long have you been making installations?

29 years this March.

(2) Why did you choose to make installations and not anything else?

It creates an environment to extend action & reaction of human life & living.

(3) What do you think of your own works?

My installations haven't been one of my stronger aspects, but other genres are quite strong.

(4) What do you think the difference is between your own work and other installations?

My installations have always been done in tandem with performance.

(5) What do you think of the relationship of traditional artwork and installation?

Traditional artwork is still stuck on the level of the fetish while installation takes the aesthetic experience out into the environment in a controlled manner.

(6) What is the size and material of an installation determined by?

Often what is given or decided upon by others with or without your input; i.e., the installation is often determined external to the artist.

(7) Could you mention the installation you consider to be the largest and the smallest one?

The great wall of China & and a minimal visual poetry show put together by Michael Bell, an American artist.

(8) Is there any object or idea that cannot be installed?

Probably not, but that would take a lot of thought to prove or disprove.

(9) How does environment affect the installation of the work?

In order for the installation to succeed it can not conflict with the environment.

(10) Do you know any fact that restricts the possibilities of installation?

Again, topography, social restrictictions; many similar things can limit the installation.

(11) Do you like making installation for order or at request?

I like making an installation I know is going to get exposure: That is the reason why I have done so few of them.

(12) What do you think of preserving an installation?

Optimately, an installation should be permanent: It should be an aesthetic extension to a liveable space.

(13) Can the value of an installation be estimated and how?

Like everything else in the art market -- for good or ill -- the raw emporium determines reimbursement..

(14) How does copyright apply to installations preserved only in documents?

I am a strong believer in the copyright: How else can the artist/author's right to fair payment be guaranteed.
