WALTER MARCHETTI: FOR THE THIRST OF THE EAR (27:44)
Released in 2010. The piece titled “For the Thirst of the Ear” (1981), which had previously been released as an autonomous LP with the same title, now forms part of this LP. The new edition contains the song titled “Song to John Cage” (1985), which was not issued on a record before this time. The cover of the record sleeve shows the sheet music of Song to John Cage”, while the colour inner sleeve harks back to the design of the original record released under the title “For the Thirst of the Ear”. All the texts were published in English and Italian. The record will now be released as the first one in a five-part LP package; the other four LPs are: La Caccia (The Hunt), In Terram Utopicam (In the Land of Utopia), Natura Morta (Still-life) and Vandalia.
