Japan, 1985. Photocopy, 13 leaves.

Polaroid-Self Portraits received by Kowa 1985 in the Mail Art Network was a Mail Art project organized by the Japanese networker Kowa Kato.

Géza Perneczky records the publication under Kowa Kato in the Network Atlas, normalizing the title as Polaroid-Selfportraits received by Kowa 1985 in the Mail Art Network. His entry identifies it as a horizontally formatted photocopied catalog measuring 25.5 × 36.5 cm and consisting of 13 leaves. The present batch represents only selected pages from a substantially longer catalog.

Kato's participation in the broader network during 1985 is independently documented by both Artpool's Frontières catalog record and the Lomholt Mail Art Archive's documentation of Pocket Museum. MACBA and the University of Iowa's ATCA documentation also record Kato as a contributor to Edgardo Antonio Vigo's Our International Stamps/Cancelled Seals Book in 1980–1981.
