Péter LEGÉNDY: Plum-dumpling
Text on the pedestal:
“Dumplings are a measure of our sense of security. A tastefully and well-shaped dumpling expresses our appreciation of others and our own self-esteem. It can be observed that people are happier to eat fresh and nicely-shaped dumplings, as it enhances and consolidates their appetite: people are happy to see a nice fat dumpling. This is not only an indication of appetite in the positive sense but also the manifestation of the human instinct to make a good impression on others.”
