Artpool’s Periodical Space No 7. - ART + POST exhibition - Mini Gallery in Újpest, Budapest, 1981.

The structure of the exhibition: Documents (photocopies) of the Hungarian Avant-garde from the 1970s on the floor. Foil welded into stripes (1 stripe = 1 artist), artist’s postcards and Mail Art works suspended in the exhibition space. Mail Art objects and bookworks in the shopwindow. T-shirts by artists on the entrance door. Propped against the wall all around are Róbert Swierkiewicz’s first Mail Art competition project titled Substitutable Self-portrait and the sheets of György Galántai’s first Hungarian assembling Textile without Textile. The sound environment is a selection of experimental projects mailed to the Artpool sound archives.
