Gergely Simon (“ISN’T”) is an actionist-conceptualist, and pastes advertisements in his freetime. More recently, he has implemented provocative micro-social demonstrations using the gesture of pasting adverts, its sound and often its material. He reproduced the word “isn’t”, denoting the absence of something, on tiny, barely visible bits of paper and pasted them in various places such as physical hiatuses (holes in walls), on/next to other artists’ works. What exists doesn’t exist; and vice versa?
