In the Dimensionist Manifesto (N+1/1936) Charles Sirato (1905–1980) wrote that Dimensionism opens the way in the direction of the plus one dimension (N+1) for the serious intellectual consequences of fundamental change, which is basically deductive with respect to the past, inductive with respect to the future, and alive in the present.

The Foundation for National Art (Nemzeti Művészetért Alapítvány, NMA) cannot ignore the cultural change of ‘recent years’. The change has resulted in the closing down and reorganisation of numerous institutions looking back on a great history. The NMA will declare every exhibition venue that such a fate has befallen to be a National Cultural Memorial and will remind the public of the past by lighting candles at these sites.
